Positions

Android Programmer (Full-time)

Description:

We are looking for motivated, self-directed software engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate is capable of taking on whole projects and be self-directed in completing those projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and assist in the launch of Android applications
  • Work as part of the new device development team

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, build processes, testing, and operations
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Java UI or services development
  • 1-2 years of Android SDK experience
  • At least 1 published, demonstrable Android application
  • Understanding of how to scale Android UI across multiple devices, both phones and tablets, from multiple manufacturers
  • Knowledge of Google and Amazon app store policies and in-app purchase methodologies
  • Knowledge of different versions of Android and how to tackle OS version specific issues
  • Experience debugging Android applications, including but not limited to DDMS, Traceview, and Draw9 debugging
  • Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams from software, hardware, firmware, and QA
  • Experience working with and integrating HTTP web services
  • Experience with android mods a plus
  • Database Schema design experience as it relates to mobile apps and backend infrastructure
  • Able to effectively communicate and provide status updates of progress
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be committed and able to meet deadlines

Perl Programmer (Full-time)

Description:

We are looking for motivated, self-directed software engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate is capable of taking on whole projects and be self-directed in completing those projects. In this position, you will be developing with a team of other Perl developers in a Linux environment. They will be developing new features and maintaining current systems using Perl, SQL, stored procedures under PostgreSQL, Template::Toolkit, and Oracle. The ideal Candidate will be responsible for optimizing systems for stability, scalability and efficiency. Also, they will responsible for designing and optimizing database schema, queries and stored procedures. As well as, locating and fixing bugs in the existing code base in a timely manner. They will provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from users regarding errors, problems or questions about programs and consult with users to design code reports/programs to meet their requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prototype and rapidly explore new concepts
  • Application Support: Maintain production applications and provide second level support to delivery, engineering and hosting teams
  • Team Focus: Work on small teams in an open environment using distributed version control, individually supported programming tools, and a central integration build server
  • Technical Deliverables: Create technical specifications, use cases, tests, software, documentation, release candidates and roll recipes as needed by the project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, modern browser rendering and security models, server and network security, performance analysis
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills

Desirable Skills:

  • 2 + years of Perl in a Linux environment
  • 2 to 4 years working with databases including complex joins, updates, and inserts
  • PostgreSQL, mySQL and Oracle database experience
  • PL/pgSQL experience
  • FastCGI or mod_perl experience
  • Template::Toolkit experience
  • Object Oriented Perl development
  • Writing CGI's using Zeus and Apache

UX/UI Designers (Full-time)

Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Designer, assist in design and production of integrated texts of graphic art, layouts and user interfaces for web marketing applications utilizing various graphic and typographic methods and related design software, and knowledge of layout principles and design concepts.

Requirements:

  • Photoshop, Illustrator, fireworks, MS Paint, etc. Choose the tools that works best for you.
  • Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
  • Understanding of browser and device compatibilities
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
  • Portfolio with work samples

Sales and Marketing (Full-time)

An entry-level position that will, under the supervision of the marketing manager, monitor client websites and analyze data on customer needs and sales trends. Report finding to marketing manager on the conduct of research and analysis of website hit statistics, membership conversion statistics and customer demographics. Suggest and recommend strategies to expand the customer base and activities to the marketing managers and supervisors. Gather data on competitors around the world and prepare reports and studies for marketing managers and supervisors. Determine demands and needs of the market and research consumer opinions and strategies upon the instructions and monitoring of the marketing managers.
